Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors prediction

Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to tie the series to 2-2 with yet another victory over Golden State Warriors at their Quicken Loans Arena on Friday night. Cavs impressed in game 3, but there is still a long way ahead of them in the 2016 NBA finals.

Signs of improvement

Despite the fact that Kevin Love failed to recover in time to face Golden State Warriors in game 3, Cleveland Cavaliers did remarkably well to crush the defending champions at their Quicken Loans Arena. Tyronn Lue’s troops produced a thrilling performance in the 120-90 victory over Warriors, with “King James” scoring 32 points during the match, while adding 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Cleveland obviously produce much better displays at home and that is the main reason why they are considered favourites on paper to emerge triumphant in game 4. In Kevin Love’s absence, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James take more shots and all eyes will be on the duo in Friday’s clash at Quicken Loans Arena. Cavs are eyeing their ninth consecutive win at home and it remains to be seen if they are capable of recording yet another win over the title holders.

Kevin Love missed game 3 with a head injury and he is rated doubtful for game 4. Coach Tyronn Lue has no other injury concerns ahead of Friday’s match against Golden State Warriors.

They are just humans

After doubling their lead over Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA finals without any difficulties, Golden State Warriors suffered a heavy 120-90 loss to LeBron James and Co. in game 4. The reigning champions failed to impress in the Quicken Loans Arena clash, but it has to be noted that one of the two “Splash Brothers” Klay Thompson suffered an injury during the match. The good news, though, is that he returned to the court and there is every chance he will take part in Friday’s match. Golden State struggle on the road and the fact that they recorded only one win in last four matches away from home is not giving the fans a reason for optimism ahead of game 4. The “Splash Brothers” had no more than 29 points between each other in game 3, but they should not be underestimated just yet. Draymond Green has been producing excellent displays in the 2016 NBA finals so far and he will be yet another man to watch in the away team.

Klay Thompson has overcome a thigh injury and he is likely to start. Looney and McAdoo have yet to enter the court in the tie against Cleveland Cavaliers.

Interesting facts

  • Golden State scored less than 95 points in two of their last three away games
  • Cleveland are after their ninth consecutive win at home
  • Cavs scored 100+ points in each of their previous 15 home fixtures
  • Warrios won four of their last five meetings with Cavs at Quicken Loans Arena
  • LeBron James has been averaging 24.6 points in the 2016 NBA finals

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors betting pick

Cleveland Cavaliers hammered Golden State Warriors in game 4, but they do not want to stop now. Cavs’ fresh confidence will be tested in Friday’s clash against the defending champions and considering that Kevin Love could be ok to face Warriors, I am tempted to put my money on Tyronn Lue’s charges once again.

Pick: Cleveland to win

Odds: -105
