Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors prediction

Cleveland Cavaliers produced their best performance of the 2017 NBA finals on Wednesday and they were on the verge of beating Golden State Warriors at their Quicken Loans Arena, but they eventually suffered yet another defeat to Kevin Durant and Co. Cavs were not on top of their game in the dying seconds of the match and, as a result, they have slim chances of defending their NBA trophy. LeBron James scored no less than 39 points for Tyronn Lue’s team in the 118-113 defeat to Warriors and, no doubt, he will be the man to watch in the home team in Game 4. Cleveland face a do or die situation in Friday’s clash and they are likely to leave their hearts on the court this time out. Kyrie Irving impressed in Game 3 as well, with the pacey point guard scoring 38 points in the loss to Golden
State, but Kevin Love played below expectations in Wednesday’s encounter. Anyhow, Cavs are trailing Warriors 0-3 in the finals of the NBA play-offs, meaning that they have nothing to lose in Game 4.

Coach Tyronn Lue has no fresh injury worries ahead of Game 4. Center Walter Tavares remains in the recovery room, but he is the only injured player in the home team.

GS Warriors – the unstoppable machine

Golden State Warriors are eager to get their revenge on Cleveland Cavaliers for the loss in the 2016 NBA play-offs finals and they are on the right track to do so. Warriors are one win away from clinching the NBA trophy and, no doubt, they want to get their job done in the series against Cavs as soon as possible. Steve Kerr’s troops came from behind to beat Cleveland at Quicken Loans Arena in Game 3 and it is more than obvious that Stephen Curry and Co. are brimming with confidence at the moment. Golden State extended their winning run in the play-offs to 15th games on Wednesday evening, with the team setting a new record. Warriors, though, do not want to stop now and I am positive that they will take Game 4 very seriously despite the fact that they are leading the series 3-0. Kevin Durant looks unstoppable at the moment and it has to be noted that he has been averaging 34 points in the finals of the 2017 NBA play-offs.

Kevon Looney has yet to recover from a hip injury, but coach Steve Kerr has no other selection worries ahead of Friday’s showdown.

Interesting Facts

  • Warriors are on a 16-game winning run

  • Golden State are eyeing their 13th straight win on the road
  • LeBron James has been averaging 28.9 points in last ten games
