Golden State Warriors vs Chicago Bulls prediction

David faces Goliath at Oracle Arena. Star-studded Golden State Warriors take on struggling Chicago Bulls and it remains to be seen if Fred Hoiberg’s men are capable of making a miracle in Friday’s game.

Warriors still warming up

Golden State Warriors won the 2016/2017 NBA title in style, with the team rolling over Cleveland Cavaliers in the finals. Steve Kerr’s men are determined to defend their trophy, but they have yet to find their best form. Warriors suffered their fifth defeat of the season on Wednesday as they were beaten by Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Stephen Curry scored 24 points in the 108-91 defeat to Oklahoma, but fellow “Splash Brother” Klay Thompson was not on top of his game against Thunder, with the shooting guard scoring only nine points. Steve Kerr’s troops aim to return to winning ways and I believe they will leave their hearts on the court in Friday’s clash against Chicago Bulls. Golden State Warriors are eyeing their seventh home win of the season and it has to be noted that they outplayed Orlando Magic (110-100) in their last game at Oracle Arena.

Steve Kerr has no fresh injury worries ahead of the visit of Chicago Bulls and he is unlikely to make changes to the starting line-up.

Cannon fodder

Chicago Bulls are no longer considered one of the best teams of the Eastern Conference as key players left the club in the summer. Fred Hoiberg’s men have already suffered 13 defeats in the 2017/2018 NBA campaign and they have slim chances of booking their place in the play-offs. Jimmy Butler and Dwaye Wade have been sorely missed and, as things stand now, Bulls are likely to have a season to forget. Chicago are on a three-game losing run in NBA ahead of the trip to Oakland and they face an uphill task in Friday’s encounter against Golden State Warriors. Fred Hoiberg’s troops have recorded only one win on the road so far this term and I do not believe they are capable of upsetting the title holders away from home. A man to watch in the away team will be Finland rising star Lauri Markkanen, who has been averaging 14.6 points this season. There is a bright future ahead of the rookie, but he is unlikely to help Bulls make a miracle at Oracle Arena.

Lauri Markkanen should recover in time to face Warriors (illness), whilst the likes of David Nwaba, Nikola Mirotic, Cameron Payne and Zach LaVine are all out of contention with an injury.

Golden State Warriors vs Chicago Bulls betting pick

Golden State Warriors are eager to bounce back from the 108-91 loss to Oklahoma City Thunder and seeing that Chicago Bulls have been struggling at the start of the season, I am positive the hosts will crush the visitors in Friday’s game at Oracle Arena.
