Indiana Pacers vs Los Angeles Clippers prediction

Indiana Pacers will be aiming to bounce back from a 108-97 loss to Sacramento Kings when they take on Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday evening. Indiana’s participation in the NBA play-offs is in danger, meaning that this has to go down as a must-win game for the hosts.

Back to back defeats

As expected, Indiana Pacers suffered a 122-110 loss to Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena. To make things even worse for the fans, Frank Vogel’s charges were outplayed by Sacramento Kings (108-97) at Sleep Train Arena on Saturday. Paul George produced yet another thrilling performance, scoring 34 points while adding four rebounds, but Pacers were not capable of guarding DeMarcus Cousins, who scored a career high 48 points. Indiana are desperate to bounce back from the defeat and seeing that they have yet to secure their place in the Eastern Conference play-offs, I am positive that they will leave their hearts on the court in Tuesday’s game against Los Angeles Clippers. Frank Vogel’s team have recorded only one win in previous six games and I believe that the time has come for Pacers to start a new winning run in the 2015/2016 NBA campaign.

George Hill returned against Sacramento following a three-match absence after the birth of his son. The likes of Mahinmi, Stuckey, Budinger and Solomon Hill did not play against Kings (coach decision), but they are all pushing for recalls.

Blake Griffin’s injury – big blow for Clippers

Los Angeles Clippers head into Tuesday’s game against Indiana Pacers following a 112-94 defeat to Toronto Raptors. Blake Griffin was once again sorely missed and it has to be noted that Doc Rivers’ men have already suffered two defeats ever since the forward suffered an injury. In his absence, Chris Paul scored 23 points (11 assists) in the loss to Raptors, but he will have to produce a much better display in Tuesday’s game against Indiana if he is to help his teammates return to winning ways. His shoot percentage was anything but good in the defeat to Toronto, but he simply needs to take more shots in Griffin’s absence. You should have in mind that CP3 is averaging 18.6 points and 9.7 assists per game. Los Angeles Clippers have recorded seven wins in previous nine away games, but the match against Pacers will be anything but a walk in the park for Doc Rivers’ troops.

Blake Griffin is unlikely to recover in time to face Indiana, but coach Doc Rivers has no fresh selection worries ahead of the trip to Indianapolis.

Indiana Pacers vs Los Angeles Clippers betting pick

Indiana Pacers are eyeing a place in the Eastern Conference play-offs and they will not get better chance than this to beat Los Angeles Clippers as the visitors head into the match without their injured ace Blake Griffin. Clippers experienced all sorts of problems in the 112-94 defeat to Toronto Raptors and I would not be surprised if Indiana return to winning ways on Tuesday evening. When the two teams met at Staples Center in December Pacers recorded a 103-91 win over Clippers.

Pick: Indiana to win
