Indiana Pacers vs Washington Wizards prediction
Indiana Pacers will be aiming to bounce back from a 103-94 loss to Boston Celtics when they take on Washington Wizards at their Conseco Fieldhouse on Friday. Wizards are eyeing their fourth consecutive win, but the match against Rick Carlisle’s team will be anything but a walk in the park for the visitors.
Indiana tough to beat at home
Indiana Pacers, who occupy 5th place in the Eastern Conference, have been having their ups and downs of late. Rick Carlisle’s men did remarkably well to beat Phoenix Suns (116-97) in their last NBA game on home soil, but Boston Celtics proved to be a big catch for Pacers on Wednesday. Paul George led Indiana with 23 points, but other players were not at the top of their game in the defeat to Celtics. Pacers are eager to return to winning ways and given their good home record Rick Carlisle’s troops are certainly capable of beating Washington Wizards on Friday evening. Indiana have recorded seven wins in previous nine home games and you should have in mind that they scored exactly 116 points in matches against Suns and Bucks. Aforementioned star Paul George is averaging 24.1 points in the 2015/2016 NBA campaign and I believe that the opposition defenders could find it hard to contain the Indiana top scorer.
Rodney Stuckey missed the game against Boston with injury and he is doubtful for the Wizards clash. Solomon Hill and Joe Young did not play against Celtics (coach decision), but the duo should return against Washington.
Fine form
Following back-to-back away wins over the likes of Orlando Magic and Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards recorded a 106-101 victory over Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. Randy Wittman’s men sit in 11th place in the Eastern Conference, meaning that they need to keep on winning if they are to book their place in the play-offs. Washington look strong offensively at the moment and John Wall is undisputedly the team’s key player. Wall scored 19 points, while adding 8 assists in the win over Bucks and all eyes will be on him when Wizards take on Indiana on Friday. Randy Wittman’s team, though, failed to beat Indiana in previous three meetings between the two sides in NBA, meaning that the visitors will not consider the trip to Indianapolis appealing. Anyhow, Washington head into the match full of confidence and it remains to be seen if they are capable of extending their winning run to three games on the road.
Jarell Eddie did not take part in the game against Bucks (coach decision), but he could play against Indiana. Coach Randy Wittman has no fresh injury worries ahead of the Indiana game. Bradley Beal returned to the squad against Milwaukee.

Indiana vs Washington betting pick
Washington Wizards have been in a terrific form of late and their fresh confidence will be tested in the Conseco Fieldhouse clash. Randy Wittman’s team are likely to stick to their run and gun basketball and seeing that Indiana have been impressive on home soil this season, there is every chance we will see a high-scoring game on Friday. When the two sides met in the USA capital earlier this season Indiana recorded a 123-106 victory over Washington.
