Milwaukee Bucks vs Washington Wizards prediction

Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Wizards will take on each other for the fifth time this season on Thursday night. Bucks aim to build on a hard-fought win over Boston Celtics, but the game against Wizards will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts.

Participation in the play-offs – mission impossible?

Milwaukee Bucks have been having their ups and downs of late. Jason Kidd’s men outplayed the likes of Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic in January, while suffering defeats to the likes of San Antonio Spurs, and Miami Heat. Bucks head into Thursday’s game against Washington Wizards following a 112-111 win over Boston Celtics and it has to be noted that Greg Monroe led his team to the victory with 29 points. Milwaukee are regarded as strong good hosts and you should know that they scored 100+ points in each of their previous five home games. Anyhow, a place in the Eastern Conference play-offs does not appear on the horizon for Bucks, who have so far recorded six wins fewer than the eighth-placed Detroit Pistons. Milwaukee Bucks are eyeing their 15th home triumph of the season.

Forward John Henson missed the Celtics game with injury and he remains in the recovery room. Coach Jason Kidd has no fresh selection worries ahead of the visit of Washington Wizards.

Important game for Wizards

Just like Milwaukee, Washington Wizards are fighting tooth and nail to secure their spot in the Eastern Conference play-offs. Randy Wittman’s men, though, need to start a new winning run as soon as possible if they are to regain their spot in top eight and, no doubt, Thursday’s match against Bucks is of big importance for the capital club. Washington, who are averaging 102.9 points this season, did well to beat New York Knicks on Tuesday and the visitors will be looking to build on the triumph when they square off against Milwaukee on Thursday. John Wall impressed in the 111-108 win over Knicks and all eyes will be on him when the two teams take on each other at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Wizards have been impressive on the road of late and it remains to be seen if they are capable of recording their fourth consecutive win away from home. Randy Wittman’s team scored 213 points in total in previous two away games.

Nene returned to contention against New York and he should play some part in Thursday’s game against Bucks. Coach Randy Wittman has no other injury concerns ahead of the match.
