San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Clippers prediction
Los Angeles Clippers will be looking to recover from a heavy loss to Cleveland Cavaliers when they square off against San Antonio Spurs in yet another derby. Gregg Popovich’s men aim to keep their 100% home record intact, but they need to prove their worth on the court.
Spurs undefeated at AT&T Center
San Antonio Spurs head into the match following a routine 93-85 win over Oklahoma City Thunder. San Antonio managed to extend their winning run at home to 32 games in the 2015/2016 NBA campaign and they are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of Los Angeles Clippers. As expected, Kawhi Leonard led the team to the victory and Clippers should find it hard to contain the 24-year-old player, who is averaging 26.02 points this season. Spurs are eyeing top position in the Western Conference and given that they have recorded three wins less than Golden State Warriors, no doubt, the hosts will take Tuesday’s match against Doc Rivers’ troops very seriously. Gregg Popovich’s team suffered a 105-86 loss to L.A. Clippers earlier this season, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge.
Boban Marjanovic did not enter the court against Thunder and he is unlikely to play against Clippers. Coach Gregg Popovich has no fresh injury worries ahead of the game.
Griffin’s injury – big blow for Clippers
Even though many people expected that Los Angeles Clippers would make life difficult for Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, LeBron James and Co. rolled over Clippers at Staples Center (114-90). The team’s performance was anything but good in the clash against Cavs and it has to be noted that Doc Rivers’ men suffered their 23 defeat of the season at the weekend. Chris Paul is not capable of winning games on his own and, no doubt, Blake Griffin has been sorely missed ever since he suffered a serious injury. Griffin remains in the recovery room and in his absence one of the men to watch in the away team will be J.J. Reddick, who scored 19 points in the defeat to Cleveland. Anyhow, Clippers face an uphill task in Tuesday’s game against San Antonio Spurs and I do not believe that they are capable of upsetting the title-chasing team at AT&T Center.
Paul Pierce and Blake Griffin have yet to recover from their respective injuries, but coach Doc Rivers has no other injury concerns ahead of the trip to Texas.

San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Clippers betting pick
San Antonio Spurs have been impressive at their AT&T Center this season and it is no surprise they are regarded as favourites on paper to win Tuesday’s match against Los Angeles Clippers. As I have already mentioned, Gregg Popovich’s charges are eager to get their revenge on Clippers for the 105-86 loss at Staples Center and given the fact that Blake Griffin is unlikely to recover in time to face San Antonio, home win appears on the horizon.
